Winemaking requires much patience, and following on from the release of our very first wine, the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc, we are also looking forward to sharing with you our inaugural 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. ‘Soon Come’ as they say in the Caribbean!
Cape Landing publishes Trade Brochure in advance of Australian Trade Tasting, London (24 January 2023)
Cape Landing is delighted to announce that our flagship Margaret River Blackwood Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 has been recognised by Decanter Magazine as one of the top four rated wines in Decanter’s ‘Wines of the Year 2021’.
We have taken time to learn the qualities of our single vineyard and understand its wine making potential, and we continue to develop a very distinctly Australian vineyard with continuous attention to bio-diverse and sustainable vineyard management practices.
We are delighted to share with you news of our success at the 2020 Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA 2020).
The 2020 vintage in Margaret River produced excellent ripening conditions, exceptional fruit quality, but also lower yields for most fruit varieties, resulting in one of the smallest harvests in the Margaret River wine region in some years.
On 14 March 2019, Cape Landing achieved an important milestone, bottling our first red wine, a ‘Reserve’ Cabernet Sauvignon, produced from fruit harvested late in the season as a part of the 2018 vintage.
The first vintage of Sauvignon Blanc has arrived safely in the Cayman Islands. After a long journey by boat from Fremantle, Western Australia’s port city, we’re pleased to say that Cape Landing Sauvignon Blanc is now available online and through Premier Wines/Premier Crew, Icoa Enoteca, and exclusive fine restaurants in the Cayman Islands.
